In modern housing, the sameness of most of the designs we observe is not overlooked. The replication of a project that looks like a concrete block is a limitation of the aesthetic as much as the construction practices. Certainly we can point to beautiful modern buildings, but in many cases, they are unimpressive and riddled with the same construction and maintenance headaches of traditional housing.
As we worked with architects to envision our construction system, we created a solution that would allow delivery of nearly any design within budget and without compromise. We continue to work with architects to prioritize the rollout of our construction system roadmap to meet current trends as they evolve. In working with our system, architects have a set of components with known costs of fabrication and assembly which can easily lend themselves to a BIM system for projects.
